It's probably premature to review this synth so soon, because every time I sit down at it, I experience something new. It employs what Korg calls "Hyper Integrated" (HI) synthesis system tone generator, coupling it with the "Karma" function. HI is a PCM tone generator with full digital signal processing. Karma, generates data according to the input that you provide, most of which can be accomplished real time. This includes the control over note/chord/algorithms/midi/phrases/patterns/effects/ and more. This description does it no justice. It REALLY is very expressive, and once you hear the preset sounds and realize your control over them, you'll poop! You even have a time deciding if you even want to change the presets. they really are that good. Just playing with the Karma section, assigning chord triggers to the provided panel buttons, and then experimenting with the further allowed changes you can make from the keyboard itself, will keep you busy for hours. Again, this does it NO justice. You NEED to get out and hear this piece in action! I'm certain that there will be those who don't like it and call me crazy, but if my very early impressions of the Karma are an indication that I'm crazy, then it won't be long before I'm insane ! Karma = "Oh, my God !"
