If you're an NS5R user you won't find new programs here. It has other cool features and I think you will prefer it instead of the poor yamaha CS1X. The bad news is that you can't add a wave blaster daughter board like the NS5R does. it doesn't have a wave blaster socket. It doesn't really bother me because the sound quality with DB'S is nothing but a piece of shit. Korg should have done better with the effect section, just think about it for a minute, 32 timbres, 2 effects? sounds odd isn't it? it's insufficient. As a korg user, korg still suffer from weak acoustic sounds and drum set sounds. It is specially evident with their acoustic piano sounds. I think that this is their final word with the acclaimed Ai2 synthesis. Workstation are no longer exist, they're history. Comments About the Sounds: It's like the cs1x. same principle. if you know the NS5R you know this one, same sounds and features, an arpeggiator, does not respond to polyphonic after touch. |
