The Z1 was intended to be my "lead" synth, and I anticipate that it will do the job very well. I'm very grateful to Korg for allowing all the patches to be user rewriteable. Although most of the patches are great as-is, some could be even better with a little tweaking. I can't seem to stop playing with the X-Y Pad, and I imagine that a Z1 in conjunction with a wind controller would be fairly show-stopping. Good Job Korg!

Absolutely awesome sound quality. Very high potential for expressive control. Not intended for acoustic replications. Very cool arpeggiator. Very MIDI-controllable.
