I bought this to replace a Vermona Drm mk2 i had just sold, and i am pleased to say i prefer this module over the Vermona. The Vermona is a fantastic instrument bbut it i felt it to be a little too "Electronic" sounding for my tastes, as i prefer my drum hits to be slightly more "disco" sounding as apposed to that more Kraftwerk electro sound. For this the ADX-1 is superb and at the price i would never even consider buying a 909, as this is perfect for creating those "house" beats i'm looking for while being diffrent to the 909 at the same time. Overall i believe this module is heavily underated and if you are in the market for an analogue drum module for producing any kind of dance music then i would seriously consider this thing as it really does sound fantastic, is going very cheap and is also something different to the 909 sound......and that can only be a good thing!

Comments About the Sounds:
This is an underated analogue drum synth module that is capable of producing nearlly all of the classic analogue percussion hits and then goes a little further to produce some wacky percussion and FM hits.

(Thanks to J Higgins for this info.)
