Brandon (rebirthlost@yahoo.com) writes:
Roland's sampler is a huge improvement over Yamaha's 10 year old sampler technology offered in their XS6 model.Though Roland really dropped the ball on internal drum and piano patches.Perhaps they could rework the internal samples like Korg did on their M3 Xpanded.

Comments About the Sounds:
Roland reused many of their standard drum samples. They sound very dated and thin. Also, the piano patches that they included are less than stellar.Yamaha really seems to have outdone them in sound design this time around.

(Thanks to Brandon for this info.)
