| This is a GR-guitar unit ONLY (GR505,GR707,GR808,or GK-1 add on pickup). It's pure analog so the sounds are pretty limited, but within thatsoundscape you can usually find what you want quickly and get back to itnear-real-time. There are no presets - this is like playing an instrument, not a synth really (as we think of them today anyway...) Pat Metheny madethis thing famous (in my mind anyway) on his albums in the late 70s/early80s. It tracks like lightning since it's pure analog - I've never beenable to out play it (I'm not the fastest guitar player in the world, butit's quick!) ALSO when used on a guitar with a double locking tremelo, youcan bend the darn thing until the strings are hanging off the guitar andthe synth will stay right with you - no zippering either! Try that on anymodern guitar-to-MIDI converter!
Comments About the Sounds:
The GR-300 has a pretty limited soundscape, but within that the analog isfast and fat. The filters are just great and the thing tracks likenobody's business.
