This workstation's main drawback is the rather old sound source it carries (SC-55). The sounds are of rather poor quality, with only a few exceptions. Nevertheless, although not being a unit of professional calibre, it is equipped with a quite comprehensive sequencer, with an ease of use that often makes me to leave aside my computer for most editing purposes. It could be considered a unit well-suited for beginners. It carries a "Backing Feature" with 30 Rythms X 3 Variations which is not bad at all! No keyboard split is allowed, and that's very bizzare, while having a 16 track sequencer. The effects are very usuable but too few.
Comments About the Sounds:
Not quite satisfactory. Many acoustic instruments have very poor quality. Some organs and pads are quite good. Strings and flutes are quite usuable.
