Original cost was only $1695.This great deal is reserved far less than this. It has strong string section and split keyboard with parallel inputs for the Chorus. Nice for blending of other instruments as well with the three mode chorus device for other musical signals to be blended. This instrument has never had a moments trouble. The RS-505 Paraphonic has all of the "latest" design features The string section, Polyphonic Synth and Bass are three independent tone generation sections. Not to mention the various options available with the polyphonic glide. Attack and release of the Bass section and balancing of all three sectionscomplete this balanced system. The controls give you great variety of settings including the trimming of the filters and the advanced features of the day that were included by Roland. Even a VCF jack for foot pedal control of the filters. and Trigger and Gate jacks. Truly one of the landmarks of the synth field of entries.
