Brent Haeseker (Jetboy4000@aol.com) writes:
A great alternative to programming beats with a drum machine or keyboard. You can wack away at this thing with sticks. Not a replacement for a real drum kit, but great for getting more nuance into stiff programmed patterns. The hihat pedal is highly recommended as this gives you the most real sounding hihat next to a real hihat. It can also do double duty as a sound module too.

Comments About the Sounds:
Very realistic hihat when used with optional Roland FD-7 hihat pedal. Great toms and symphonic percussion and stabs. Hihat pedal can be used to change pitch of timpani drum sounds. Also, has lots of classic Roland drum sounds from all of Rolands old drum machines like the 808.

(Thanks to Brent Haeseker for this info.)
