Elder brother of SPD 11, More Tone Banks, More Tones, More Patches (100 patches, unlike 64 in the SPD 11). Only problem while using this in a live performance is that there is no numeric keypad to select the patch # directly. So, u have to browse from patch#50 to patch#100, if thats the way u have arranged ur patches... This was a problem when I had the SPD11, and continues with the SPD20. But more polyphonic than SPD11 and deeper bass sounds, with many preset Rhythm loops.
