Well... I use it for bagpipes and flutes. I could well be the only owner of one in Sweden and I haven't heard of anyone using it aborad either. It's not very stable as for key accuracy but it sure tracks a lot faster than any analogue/accoustic to Midi converter I've tried. I'd love to hear from other SPV owners.
