Before buying, make sure you know what you are getting yourself into. This is a big time limited synth. It is definitely not worth its second hand price. If you have the money and want to get into techno, get yourself a couple of second-hand analogue keyboards/racks/sequencers. Hell, you could get an MC-202, a SH-101, and a TR-707 (cheap midi sync) for the same price.
With that said...and before I get flamed... I do love this machine. I originally bought it for its history, but fell in love with its pure fatness and killer acid sound. Add some effects... and look out.
To close, the TB-303 does one thing and does it excellently. If you want that one thing (classic acid sound), then go for it. Otherwise, run from it screaming.
