I mainly use the Glass Voices patch and to this day I haven't found another synth that can match its blooming, ethereal sound. The D-50 is easy to work with and is a great tool for any studio. It was the first synthesizer to utilize on-board effects and ring modulation. There is an enormous amount of patches available on-line making the D-50 an essential resource for any musician.
Comments About the Sounds:
The D-50 has a very unique and recognizable sound. Paul McCartney and Paul Schaffer use it, as well as many other major stars.
Rec'Up A lot of public domain banks and organized libraries (thousands of sorted out and classified sounds) you can download for free. You'll find too totally new and unpublished banks.
