Defintely worth the money. Don't sell your Tr909 and Tr808 just yet. Although quite competent as a dance/rave synth, it lacks many things. Its just that a lot of the sounds are either out dated or over-used. But don't get me wrong, tons of them go into the "gotta use em" pile. I'm mainly using the thing(professionaly) as a drum module. But its still fun to punch in a baseline and use it as a scratchpad for ideas when away from the studio... Very small and compact, you can sit with it on your lap while you watch TV!!! :)
