The SY85 is capable of stunningly big arrangements. I've done sequencer only tracks on it and people have asked me which studio I recorded them in. Effects are amazing. 2 discrete stereo effects units, each offering 91 effects. Can be used in series or parallel, and uses 4 busses to route sounds through them. Chorus, flanging, reverb, delay, exciters, parametric EQ, echo, ring modulation, leslie cab, distortion ... the lsit goes on. All fully programmable they are the real source of the SY85 power. Better than the newer syths from Yamaha. You need one of these. Feel free to email deegan@dreamworld.demon.co.uk if you have any questions. I use mine professionally all the time. Comments About the Sounds: Stunning range of sounds, and some of the most massive layers you'll find on anything. I kid you not. I run a small recording studio, and the SY85 is bloody gold dust. |
