I love this keyboard, I have a Yamaha Ex-5, 2 Sy-85's, a Roland JV-30 and SH-2000 as well as a CVP-207 (top of the line Yamaha Clavinoa). This blows them all away. It is everything I ever wanted in a synth. It has built in vocal harmonizing, tons of effects and special features that you will just have to check the web site for. http://www.yamaha.com/cgi-win/webcgi.exe/DsplyModel/?gPPK00005TYROS Just amazing! The only drawback is that the construction doesn't have that solid feel that the EX-5 and Sy-85 have. It seems a little light weight and perhaps more fragile. That and the fact that whenit arrives it's Music Finder (and list of 1400 plus songs to help you use built in styles) has the naming conventions screwed up. For instance the "Take Five" is listed as "Take Four Plus One". Yamaha customer support is great they e-mailed me a file to this within minutes. Huge Full Color Display with adjustable angle and contrast, Display shows settings, score and or lyriucs. Compose and record on the Tyros and your composisition notation will be presented on the display. and Midi A & B, USB Port, Video Out, 360 Preset Auto Accompaniment, Save to Floopy or optional hard drive. You can layer Three Voices and have a 4th voice on the left side. Too many features to cover. Comments About the Sounds: You simply have to hear them to believe!! I have not exaggerated by giving this marvel 4's across the board. It is great. |
