Man, what is all this hype about the Arp Odyssey? I owned one from june 1986 until I needed cash in february 1993. Verdict: SUCKED....!!! I kept it for years and NEVER was able to get any REALLY good Musically useful sounds out of it EXCEPT for a VERY deep Growly bass that was VERY similiar to the cars' LETS GO song : 'Bowwowow- woww- bowowwow-...etc.' So I just don't understand the supposed 'mystique' re: HYPE aboput this thing. Its kinda like the fake Bullshit about the Roland tb-303. This was nothing but a cheap stupid little module that is now going for over a thousand bucks...?????!!!! Gimme a break. Only in America dose HYPE surpass reality....

Not really white faced, kind of gray faced in my opinion. Sounds and feels a little dirtier than the newer versions of the odyssey.
