I got my Mpc 3000 back and I realised what I had lost , its like an old girlfriend that I got back . Its is the best timing seq ever nothing beats it nothing looks better and nothing feels like the mpc . I am even thinking about hooking all my midi stuff to it ( Synth & Samplers ) this thing is the god father of seq ( Good by Cubase ) end of story . :)

Bizarro a professional user from U.S of A writes:
The 3000 is the BEST hardware sequencer ever. I own an MPC-3k and MPC-2k and also SCI Studio 440 and MMT-8.

The 2000 has a FEW improvements over the 3k (the wishy-washy FX card is NOT one of them, the 3k has an ULTRA clean 3 tap delay)

The 2k allows you to alter the quantize rate real-time, as opposed to the 3k.

The 3k has MUCH better d/a converters and sounds crystal clear.

4 midi outs on the 3k vs. 2 on the 2k. Still kills that piece of dung ASR-X.

There is NO better hardware sequencer than the 3k. Period. End of story.

Madman a professional user from Brooklyn New York writes:
I have owned an MPC3000 since Febuary 14th 1995. I received it as a Valentines Day present from my Girlfriend. There is no Drum machine Sampler that can touch it. I maxed out the memory and added a scsi drive and that is all you need baby. I would not sell it for any amount of money. Although I have used it so much that the paint is coming off of the top. Using it is better than a hootchie any day. My one complaint is I need to know what is the optimum swing setting for a Hip-Hop song around 97 BPM. Sometimes my drums are off. Can you help me out ? Last thing Do not buy a 2000 it is a waste of time.
