And I forgot to say it sounds great!! No extra noise in mine anyway. Great scratchpad to help you produce some wicked ideas into at least a starting point for a song or just works great as a good creative assistant. :) Tiny footprint and has lots of balls.

I still love this thing. I can carry it around with me in a small Rok Sak with the SP-202 and whip em out anytime since they both run on batteries. COOL!! With a small mini amp or headphones, you can produce at the beach or on a plane or in the woods by your campfire. I wish there were more products like this.

I love this machine it was easy to hack... you can pitch any drum or bass sounds and roll a bass sound, simply by patching SysEx kit dumps... you can assign BASS sounds to a drum pad and DRUM sounds to BASS parts...
seriously the program I wrote at:

I still love mine after 3 years. Last nite, I was using it as a MIDI controller for several other synths, and was that ever fun!! Helped me create some pretty wild bass runs and percussion that amazed me. Great little box, very portable and runs of batteries. Has plenty of potential in the right hands. Classic fun machine!!
