I've had one of these for about 7 years. Although the keys are full size, its not a full size keyboard.
Its purely for use of playing since its useless as a synth. It has no effects so to speak and even worse, no midi.
It sounds half decent but once again use it as a piano, not as a synth.
3 out of 5. Alright, but not good or great.

Got one of these things when I was seven; it's pretty craptacular, but after a good 11 years, I've finally realized that it's actually useful for some things - you just have to get really creative with it.
It's noisy, plasticky, thin, and cheesy. I decorated mine with a cut-up "Clinton on a Milk Carton" bumper sticker and now refer to it as "The Ultimate Death Machine". I play it as half of the two-piece comedy band "!Weird Bob!", along with some of my other cheapo gear. ^^
Some of my Ultimate Death Machine tricks:
-I sampled myself playing major/minor/2nd/4th triads with some of the brass patches, and combined them in Fast Tracker 2 to make some thicker seventh chords, looped 'em, and what do you know, they make a pretty smooth and surprisingly lush pad background for my sorry attempt at a jungle/DnB tune. -Some of the reeds and synthier sounds make half-decent leads. -Stay away from the drums ^^ -Play around with some outlandish effects on the thing. I put this through my Zoom 506 bass effects, set to a phaser and distortion or something like that, and with only my little 15-watt bass amp I was able to shake the walls around. A possible live application? Eh, maybe =P
In conclusion, it's an interesting little keyboard if you're into cheesy tracked music, comedy music, or anything unorthodox and wacky like that. I give it a "2" because it's pretty much unusable for anything else. Maybe pick it up if you see it at a flea market for ten bucks, but make sure you know what you're getting into first ^^;

Yes, I am a beginner, and I'm not very much into synths / keyboards.
Anyhow, I happen to own CA110, and I wonder, why it doesn't get any good comments? I think this keyboard rules. Well, alright, it sucks in professional and part-time use, but it is ideal for hobby-ist or a dude who wants to have some fun.
The beat bank has some extremely cool 80s beats. I think this thing could be used when making some retro-stylish game music, a.k.a NES-music.
I give 4 out of 5. I know, I am stupid, but haha, I just like CA110. Anything cheap or free goes, and I got this for 22 dollars.
Great.

i guess for a beginner its pretty good. but over all... it basically sucks. the only good thing on the keyboard is the sound effects.
this guy i work with just gave me the ca110 because i told him i was saving up for a keyboard (korg ms2000) and he gave it to me. ive used it some, mainly just to be stupid. it now sits in my room.
ill never get rid of it because: #1. the sounds on it r funny #2. its not worth more than maybe $20 #3. itll probly be the next big thing once i get rid of it
