Fritz Giesemann a hobbyist user from Mexico writes:
I love the very cheese sound of this little synth for doing low octave solos (16'). I sync the square LFO (Korg gave it some other name) to the arp. of my polysix, so I can play some strange striking solos on ths little thing along with an arp. bass from the poly. I also use the MS for bass, but i dont't play it from it's keyboard (not very fast envelopes) I rather sample it. And I also use it for filtering my drum sounds. I love the fact that I can route the sound with the patch bay. This little thing is pretty usable and I really love it.

The Malpaso Man a professional user from In the Bar with Lee Van Cleef writes:
Just bought this little analog monster last week, and I'm impressed so far, it's good for bubble and squeak sounds, bass, screeching leads, especially if u tweek the little trim pot und the rubber cap in VCLPF. The patch matrix is excellent, I'm using banana jacks to route things which means I can send two signal from one input or output, I connected both white and pink noise together and sent both of them to the external input, turned up the ext. input dial, pressed a key and watched my monitors disappear up thru the roof (wow!!). Using banana jacks the matrix possibilities become even more crazy. I have 10 jacks plugged in so far....

Now gimme an MS-20 or a PS-3300. Or a fistfull of dollars to buy em' both.

A fabulous little mini modular synth, capable of a huge variety of cutting edge analogue sounds. The look is unmistakable. One of the most classic looking synths. I would say that it is a good synth to learn on but it's not. It will probably be the only modular synth you will ever get the chance to play. The matrix is great fun. Many crazy sounds are possible. A great thing to have about. I'm seeing less and less for sale nowadays. I think that they've all been collected. Get one if you can. The MS20 is even better, though it can be daunting when you go in deep.

Cool little analog synth-thingy... Very useful to create the weirdest seagull-kind-of-sounds. Don't use it much, though. Tuning is little off now and then. But for the rest...

Acushla a professional user from London England writes:
MS10, MS10, MS10. I have had my Ms10 for a few years now. it was given to me by my x girlfriends mother who found it in her loft when she moved into her new home, and what a find it was. When i first viewed this little monster the Image and retro appearance of it struck me like a bassball bat. After getting the little beauty back to my studio I powered her up only to be greeted with the most inhumane screech my monitor had ever experienced.

The filters in this baby are sweet and the ability to treat it as a semi modular is a welcome and creative tool. I find that the pitching is pretty free as after long periods it tends to float out of tune but that just ads character since it doesnt slip too far out.

I have my MS10 permanently connected to an RP6 digital guitar effects unit and use all kind of effects on it, some of my faves are wah wah and subtle distortion.

I have used it to drive the leads on many of my releases and it actualy led the bass line on my first ever commercial recording.

I purchased an MS2000 today and got her home, powered her up eagerly expecting to hear the beauty of the MS10, I was dissapointed in that respect. I guess if you want a mono synth that is superior to the MS10 you can only choose an MS20... nothing else compares in it's class. Bravo...
