this little machine ROCKS. absolutely fantastic lots of potential to brutalise anything you care to pass through the e.s.p. some people claim the oscilators are a little thin but i beg to differ.it always sits in the mix or can be made to invade if thats your cup of tea.if anyone out there has some comprehensive pach suggestions i would welcome them with open arms

I bought my ms-20 in 1991 for only DEM 400.-. A cool, freaky machine with it's very own sound, great for fx-sounds. And it's like a mini-modular system with it's patching capabilities. My favorite analog mono-synth. If you don't have one - get one fast!

Ferocious filters and the ESP is excellent.
Pity about the mediocre oscillators, crap LFO and naff envelope gens though.
I'd certainly get another one for live tweaking of external audio.

My first synth...1980..? Patchbays....Knobs...Seudo Wendy Carlos...LOL just a funky machine.... very cool sawtooth envelope....great for effects.... kinda weak for melodic stuff...sorry I found it's sound a bit thin... but the resonance can wake the dead if not carefull...sold it in 1984 to buy a Moog Source...sold the Source ...wish I had the MS20 back just for sentimental reasons... It was a odd thing...for it's sound effects and patchbays...I rate it 3 the Dr

Fatastic, I use with the dance band, It a releif from playing that oversized bass guitar. Lovely squelchy filters , and what. . . a patch bay, oh yes. This is no bull, monophonic synthesis at its best. Who needs Moog anyway(!)
