Kelly a hobbyist user from Canada writes:
Nice, light box. Looks impressive with it's angled back, patchbay, knobery and white on black flowcharts. It's own 2 VCO's produce a bright, stable output. Not particularly bassy w/o added resonance, which can leave you in speaker wrecking zone and it isn't stable this way. The pitch to voltage converter is a real treat. In conjunction with the patching, the MS-20 is capable of some very unpredictable and satisfiying results. Gives it a sort of 'found sound' aspect. The filtering is excellent with it's resonant HP and LP, though they are a tad on the noisy side. For the size and value next to other synths that are in it's bracket, the MS-20 outperforms. Worthy of the praise that is lavished upon it.

Hi. It is black. The keys are noisy. It is hard to understand. Sometimes, late at night, I can hear it breathing. Then it says duh-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-dew!-babooom-duh-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-dew!-baboom. Those doos are triplets, too. If you learn it...it will sound good.

Just got it this christmas, The filters found its way to my heart !! This is probably the angriest synth i ever played, and with a little FX on a huge P.A. it would probably kill one or another! :) I think it'll find it's best places for Deep basslines, Leads and Wacked FX!

I'll *never* ever gonna sell this baby! It's definitely the poor man's choice for a Minimoog... If you find one, get it!!!!

William Orbit, Vince Clarke & Aphex Twin wasn't wrong!!
