Alex Ganzeveld a hobbyist user from Netherlands writes:
This synth is great. I more or less traded it for my Roland SH-5. I miss the SH-5's great osc sync and the ringmod on the SH-5 is also better. But the MS-20 wins on something even more important; flexibility. The patching is just great. It's like having a soundlaboratory in a box. No matter what the price is: the Korg MS-20 is worth every cent.

Love the sound of this machine. Bass is nice, if you're worried about phasing just use the one oscillator. filters are nice, if you like the crunchy sound, can be sampled and turned into a polyphonic instrument etc. Sorry doesn't beat the real thing, though useful. Will be fun to use legacy to make up a sound and become familiar with the front panel then program on the real one. It's now been modelled, someone should sell me their ms50 for close to nothing. Great though for the money i'd take the roland sh-5.

Obviously a great machine. The nay sayers are non owners who are real jealous. Ignore them. This is a modular minisynth. Easy to use and great fun. Looks great too. They cost about a quarter of the price of a minimoog, even less now. Three times as good at least. The MS10 is also a belter. These are complex and strong sounding synths.

Dylst Peter a hobbyist user from Belgium writes:
Im sorry to hear negative comments from other users. I also own a macbeth m3x, a jupiter 6, a juno 60, a solina string ensemble and a dx7 and i have to say that this machine has got the most character.

People who complain about unwanted noise should have theirs checked because mine doesn't have any. Mine also always stays in tune and is EASY to finetune.

Daft Punk debut single alive was made mostly on one of these so if you like that, you should buy one of these
