ITS A GREAT MONO SYNTH FOR THE PRICE, I USE IT FOR ADDING PEICES AND PARTS TO TIGHTEN UP MY OTHER LOOSE SYNTHS, SURE ITS MONO BUT ONE NOTE CAN MAKE YOUR SOUND.

great flexibility. the sounds can go deeper tha most VAs in its class. if youre willing to devote time and patience to experimenting and programming, you will get sounds that most could only try to envision.

Today is my last day that I have the Prophecy here at home because I'm selling it.

Well, a lot has already been said so I'll be brief.

It' a great synth (in a small package) but you need to be prepared to spend 'some' time to get familiar with all the knobs,... and its workings. It's certainly not the easiest synth. The manual is not very helpful, you'll have to discover a lot of things on your own. (advice: join a list about the prophecy).

So, why did I sell it? Not because the Prophecy is bad but after a while I felt the urge to play chords with this baby and since it is a monosynth, I felt a little short on this part. A few weeks ago I bought it's big brother, Korg Z1, so I won't really miss 'the prophecy'.

If you already own a Trinity, Triton or Karma, you might want to look for the MOSS expansion board, just plug it in...instant Prophecy or Z1.

This is not a synth for 'instant' sound pleasure, but if you like the create your own sounds (and are willing to invest some time), you can get some very neat stuff out of the Prophecy.

Anoosh Batieeri a professional user from Bellingham, Washington writes:
I simply love this leadpiano. I accuired it in Iran (of all places) and I love it. I could play classic Iranian music in the daytime and at night, hidden in my studio - I'd play strictly forbidden hip hop rhythms, with round bass patches! (In Iran you can get 20 lashings for playing such sounds). This Korg is definately fruit of the Devil. Get ONE!
