Wally's Sensible Haircut a professional user from USA writes:
The only question I have is why are you still reading this and not going out and buying one -- they're practicly free now.

I paid $680 for mine about a year ago, and although I really didn't start using this thing until recently, I'm not the least bit concerned with the drop in price -- this synth is the BEST analog synth in ANY catagory (except the Z1), fatter than IMHO the JD800, JP8000, and even the might Nord Lead. People who paid $600-1000 more for these synths might not want to admit it, but jesus, plus this thing in, close your eyes, and just tweak -- this is ANALOG!! The only limitations are what you allready know -- this thing is a Lead synth, and there's no room for fancy chords -- you're going to need your left hand anyway to play with the cool log controller -- you'll play with it more than yourself. It's just like a MOOG in this synse. Being that this was my first synth, I really didn't realize what I had until I actually started comparing stuff. I'll probably buy a Roland JD800 next just becuase I respect the hell out of it, but this is going to get alot of milage. In fact, as soon as I score another $500, I'm gonna buy another one. They make great MIDI controllers, and what better to control REBIRTH with? Something like this doesn't happen very often in the synth market -- and if you can find one, you SHOULD buy it. There's no way you'll be sorry with your purchase. Jesus, I mean, the things cost as much as CS1x's now!
