Bottom line: BOUGHT ONE!!!!

Ever since 1977 when I bought an ARP Axxe and added 4 VCOs to it, I've been trying to emulate it's sound. My keys include Yamaha SY99, Ensoniq VFX, Korg Wavestation and Cheetah MS6 and thye are all excellent at their own thing. But a few hours programming the aweful depths of the Prophecy found me some sounds that I swear I can't tell the difference.
So if you want to know what those clever digital filters in the Prophecy sound like, it's not Roland ( not enough zzzzzip) or Moog (not warm enough), I reckon it's close to ARP ( bright and smooth).
Anyone else got an opinion on this?
Buy one, especially now they're half the price I paid!

I consider this to be my favorite synth. It sounds great, and
it's a synth that you never really get bored of. I actually like
that it's monophonic because you can concentrate more on each
note then just mushing a bunch together. And it really doesn't
sound monophonic. I also use it as a controller, because it has
full polyphony when used to play another midi device.
