Korg is very smart for doing this. Roland won't bring back what everyone wants and just keeps putting out cheesier stuff. Now Korg is taking the initiative and imitating the old xox boxes. It's about time someone realized what the hell is going on. I hav'nt heard them yet other than the real audio sample but if they're anything even remotely as cool sounding as my Prophecy (and chances are), I give it a 5. They look cool and it's a damn good price, too. Korg is the sh*t!

I just got an ER1 last night- (the drum machine one) I was going to get an XBase09, but then I saw the AiRBase99, and couldn't decide between them, cause I really wanted a sequencer, but the AiRBase just had so much more goods. Then I tried the ER-1 and bought it immediately. (especially for the price) The timing is solid, you can step edit on the fly with no hiccupps, you can hand-fill with the part pads. All good for live shit, and the sound is right in your face. Along with my Microwave XT, I think it's going to be my my favorite piece.
