Ijust started out in making electronic music, so maybe it is just me,but it seems like this thing is limited to what it can do.The sounds seem more 80's like. But other than that,I have made some nifty little beats.

hay you all here at sonicstate, thought i would drop by my review of my er-1 i got picked up the other day for $105. well the first day i got it i played around with the preset beats and was like yea it seams kinda cool, but had to go to work about an hour later. the next day i took a few hour to make my own beats, and whow. i could not belive how good they sounded out of this little box. kinda like some 303 and 909 stuff. any way for $105 dollars i was suprised what all this thing could do. if you are new to the electronic music thing i reccomend that you start out with the electribes from korg very easy and very cheap. im going to have to get me the new ones now and see if they are any better

The best stand alone drum machine I have ever heard. This baby is for the creative among you who want to stamp your own sound. It kicks like a mule & produces fabulous electro sounds. Buy IT!

Joonas a professional user from Finland writes:
If you do anything electronic...THIS IS FOR YOU. I use it with Korg EA-1(basslines) and Korg microKORG(extra noise) to name some, and this combination kicks ass. I havent found almost any bad things about electibe R. Only things are that 1.it doesnt have any computerbased editor(not that I know.If there is please inform). It would be a great help to arrange the patterns on a screen (and sound editing could be neat too!). 2.there is only L/mono and R outs. I have wondered if I should do a "breakoutbox" with individual outs for all sounds (I have done it to my 606 and it helps a lot). You just cant hype this machine too much.
