What a synth. It sounds kickin' like a prophet or something just as tasty. All wood, switches and rotary nobs like a synth should have. Effects that work and all sort of stuff to keep you amused. I had trouble gettin' a gooden'. time and mis-treatment have killed alot off. Key contacts in the bass and high reaches are often clapped. For warmth and surprise this is a main synth. Can't undertand the nay sayers. I think they are comparing it to a matrix 12 or something stupid like that. A good one will be a friend for life.

Well, Rick Wakeman, ELP and Suade for starters. This is a widely used synth by professionals. If it had Moog on the back it would be the most expensive synth in the world. It would be the best Moog synth. The sounds are rich and murky. This is a fabulous analogue. In unison, wow! The chord tracking is cool. A great, cheap deal.

M a hobbyist user from Manchester UK writes:
Well, I know this ha been said before, but if this said 'MOOG' on it, you would see the price triple, and it would not be so underrated as it is now. It is not one of the 'cooler' synths beause not so many famous artists are known to have used one. But that doesn't mean you can't get an amazingly huge pallette of sounds!

It is a joy to use, with plenty of useful features, and is very much an analog beast :)

This baby is an absolute bargain at the moment, so snap one up forthwith!

I think it's one of the best smaller synths ever made. I've owned a Moog Prodigy, Roland Juno 106/60, but I can honestly say this one has given me the most fun so far.

P.S. Everyone always goes on about the JUNO having wooden sides - well, this one does as well you know! :)

A fabulous synth. The sounds are thick. great control and fun features like chord play and a good arpeggiator. The effects add lushness. Loads a' LFOs. Gives a swirling effect when used on the chorus control and density. Has programs. The best ssm chip use I have heard. In unison it blows yer beard off. the polysix looks and sounds like a proper synthesizer. A great deal.

Arthur Byerly from usa writes:
Was the first synth I ever bought, and my all time favorite. Paid $45 buck in a garage sale. This thing does suprinsingly warm everything, and such a dream to program and play. BUT....the dreaded battery problem caught up with it 2 years later. Still looking for one though. Sounds are close to Rush/OB sounds and will flat out do the bass line for "subdivisions"
