THIS IS THE BEST SYNTH I'VE EVER PLAYED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I HAVE TRIED ROLANDS AND YAMAHA'S, BUT SOMEHOW KORG IS MORE UNDERSTANDABLE AND EASY TO NAVIGATE. YAMAHA IS GREAT TOO NO DOUBT ABOUT IT, BUT THAT SMALL SCREEN FROM MOTIF ITS JUST TOO SMALL IN TODAY STANDARDS. ANYWAYS, MANY OF OUR USERS DON'T RATE THE PRODUCTS CORRECT BECAUSE THEY JUST DON'T KNOW HOW TO OPERATE THEM. WE CAN SAY THAT THEY'RE LIKE A BUNCH OF MONKEYS TRYING TO DRIVE A CAR.

Its been said a million times that it is an awesome synth -no what kind of music you make -even heavy bands like linkin park, Korn and system of a down use it!-
but also its all you need live onstage! simply kick-ASS!

Ahhhhh the Triton where do I start. I've had mine for about a year and I'm still finding new and exciting things this beast can do. Alot of you are comparing it to the Motiff. It's true they were made to compete with each other but in my opinion the Triton is the best workstation/sampler period. I think the Motiff is great at pianos, drums,synths,organs,and some strings but it is diffucult to use and I keep hearing of complaints about dragging sequences and m.i.d.i. timing issues. I plan on getting a Motiff rack after the new O.S. is fully implemented but as much as I originally wanted the keyboard I'd rather drive the Motiff rack with the Triton. I'll sleep better at night. Oh by the way I have a EX-5 Ya har me ?

Wow, where do I start with a Triton review? I LOVE the sounds, especially horn sections, hammond/leslie sounds, vocal-string sounds. In my opinion, the pianos and guitars still need a lot of work, though. That said, though, the Triton is infinately "tweakable", and with patience and work, you can get the sounds you like out of this machine. Also, layering and splitting is much more generous on it than on many others. I have had my Triton machine three years with no service issues. I have not sampled or sequenced on it, shame on me. I have to admit to being a bit technologically-challenged where these functions are concerned. The keyboard action is superb for being non-weighted. The touch screen is huge and very functional. BUT...it is impossible to see outside in daylight. My STRONG dislike...what is up with the coarse silver finish? Try to keep it clean. It attracts and keeps dirt. My 12-year-old black finish o1/W-FD looks newer. Over-all, though, I would recommend this board highly.

I must say I am very impress with my Trton. I always dicover something new with it and it is fairly easy to get around it. Though I admit I wouldn't always go to the manual to find answers. Some complain about the sequencer, but I find it very easy to use. I love the sampler so no complaints there. Most of the instruments sound great. However, some like brass,reeds,and some string instruments could use a little tweeking over the factory presets. Overall it is a great synth. I have the MOSS board installed and the dance and trance expansions installed as well. I work mostly on all dance genres, new age, and some rock. It had served me well. The only thing I would trade it for would be the Triton Studio.
