I work at a music store and the long awaited triton pro finally arrived...i wiped the slobber off my chin and unpacked it...nice looking except for the silver plastic case ...come on use some durable construction guys...yeah i know you are trying to keep the price down...set up this honker and was mighty impressed...this was a demo unit fully loaded with the expansion boards plus moss board...simularities to the trinity however it sounded warmer and fatter...thicker B3 patches ...layered grooves with juicy Z1 sounds ...add the moss board if you get one of these...plus a sampler to boot...the touch screen was quicker and more responsive and no 2 second gliches between patch changes...now where is that credit card.......

I love this workstation. Great sounds, great sequencer, great sampler, and great fx. If you look into it you have to get the MOSS option..insane..the sounds you can make are incredible..up to 4 LFOS ..all sorts of craziness...my only complaint is lack of resampling on the sampler..but who knows..maybe in a software upgrade. Some people complain about digital synths, but with a touch screen, its easy to navigate around..my favorite workstaion to date.

I have been using an ASR-10 and 01w for the past 2 years and I drolled over the Trinity for months. I'm glad I waited for the Triton. Everything on it is so logical. I just finished my first song on it and I was able to complete it in 1/2 the time that it took me to write a song on the 01W. Editing is so easy and the sequencer is a cinch to use. LOVE THE TOUCHPAD!!!! The sounds are nice and thick and it was a pleasure to work on.

The downsides: The manual sucks! My ASR-10 is much harder to use but the manual is straight forward. I am impressed by the quality of the sounds except for the grand piano. Sounds cheap and muffled. I will keep my 01W for the Steinway piano sound (A01). I also wish that the Triton was built as sturdy as the 01W.

This workstation/sampler is THE BOMB!! Hats off to Korg for a job well done!!! Please, just write a simple manual. Thanks

How can I put how amazing this creature is??!!! I've tried trail tested many peices of euipment, but I feel that I can record a whole f*****g album in a month with the TRiton. The sounds will inspire any artist or musician. There's a strong rumor that Korg is coming out with a 2.0 software upgrade which would fulfill my personal wishlist...re-sampling and timestretch on the sampler. The Triton is the s***. I give it a 5 with a bag of chips.

Triton is a fairly good work station/sampler....make sure you have effects( all seven )on in sequence mode.....the manuals are long winded and make Triton seem complicated...it's not..the manual goes off on tangents and uses too many words to explain simple tasks... it can make a 2 step process seem like 7... my advice to Korg publish a user friendly manual with your keyboard the current 2 manuals hide the Tritons simplicity, first time buyers may be turn off...the sampler has no time-stretch (will probably be added in an upgrade)so Triton loses 1 point...if you like user friendly manuals subtract another point no joke they're aweful....good keyboard bad manual now you know....
