Killer sounds. 1. Piano - Great (Not as good as the alesis nano piano but almost there)

& organs

2. Brass - Ultra realistc(Sax, trumpet, tromponte, especially french horn)

3. Bass - Great (nice clean punchy bass)

4. Drums - Good (Very clear and crisp but bass drum could kick more)

5. Guitars - Good (Overdriven guitar sounds good enough for leads

when combined with an oberheim strummer

6. Pads - Excellenet (Warm and rich tones, or dark and daring)

7. Strings - Astounding, (Its a Korg, Need I say more)

8. Keys - Excellent (Great feel, excellent keys. Could play them all

night)

9. Display - Excellent well thought out. (It's great for live perfomances

beacuse the patches can be accesed through a numeric keypad for

quick response, very usefyl) Bottom line: Excellent sound synth. Great for live performances and demos, as well as studio recordings(no noise!!) If you had a choice between the Roland xp-50 and the korg n364. Definetely get the Korg!

I think that the N364 is the most gourgeous workstation i've ever seen.

with it's silver coat and neat pitch control it feels great as my master keyboard.

I don't use the sequencer but in sequencer mode when i work against midi i have en-

countered problems with the combi-sounds i can't get them to work as i want...

They get separeted on the channels and when i have copied them they won't go away.

i have to erase all the data and start all over again...

The sounds of the synt is great and in the studio we have nicknamed it to the

MOVIE SYNTH..cause almost all the sounds could fit in a movie soundtrack..

The string pads are about the best i've ever heard...

Musician a professional user from USA writes:
Pluses: Great electronic Sounds (pads, lead, etc), too many to choose.

Combos layed out and layered that can stir up your imagination and creativity. Minuses: Don't even think the acoustic instrument sounds are usable. No matter

how well you can program your sounds, piano, strings, guitar sounds do not sound

real at all. Most of these sounds just sound like the old M1, things from

the 80s...

This synth is really good but I have some problems with the sequencer.

I can't create combination sounds as is combi bank, and I have no idea about the tempo between the apreggiator and the sequencer mode.... Personally I think this workstation is cool

samratb a professional user from india writes:
the korg n364 is a cool workstation with some great pad, analog and drum sounds for the kind of music in europe. the drum sounds are cool as compared to Roland, kurzwiel and ensonique. The effect processor could have been better as it's just like the o1w and x-series. The pads are really spaced out and some of waves and LFOs are slaming dirty (I wish they had given more...). The Pianos are just about OK. The loops are nice but tempo tracking is a slight problem.

Something fucked up and my RPPR does not work anymore, I remember it had some neat grooves. The sequencer is cool but the user screen is painful and the buttons create a racket and a tantrum at times. some industrial sounds are way cool and very original from other bbrands.

the Nsreies is a very cool buy for the money except the buck provides no expansion....
