I love this synth. I also have a MC-505, Korg Prophecy, and MPC-2K. This baby fills in all the gaps nicely. The sound is very up front and punchy, much more so than the similarly featured 505. Not as many types of sounds, but the pads, leads, basses, and especially the kicks are more "analog" sounding than the 505s attempts. I haven't really messed with the vocoder yet as I also have a Vocoder plus, but it seems like a cool idea. The only downers I have are the seq. has a few oddities, but I don't seq on it anyhow. But if it were my only machine it could be frustrating. And more outputs would be nice. I find myself sampling the drum sounds to get more outputs. But for the money, this thing rocks.

This one killer synth.Brilliant piece of gear fromthose masters at Quasimidi.Fat sounds, easy to use and the vocoder is excellent for voice changes and also to route the synth sounds internally.Anybody thinking about getting one DO IT! You wont be disappointed.
