I've had this keyb for 2-3 years now. Here's what I think of it (one argument per finger:
Pros (right hand): + Really easy, logical and fast to use + Has its own sound + Everything works well + Well built, doesn't break easily. + Unpredictable filters
Cons (left hand): - Can't really emulate anything well - Only 3 synth channels and 4 dedicated drum channels (bd, snare, hihat, percussion) - Effects arent that good, barely usable - Has its own sound (a con if you're the type that gets easily tired of certain types of sounds) - Unpredictable filters (a con if you want nice smooth filtering)
Now you can weight your left and right hands to find out if you'd like one of these.
In my opinion it's not a great machine for making that uniform "mainstream" trance (the kind that 'needs' a 8080 supersaw) but it works well for creating any kind of original sounding music.
If I have to name something I'd change in this box... First: it's the effects, they could be better. Second: more synth channels (Buying another one of these or recording parts in should do the trick). Third: nothing
