deadboy a hobbyist user from Queens,NY writes:
Good module for the musician on a budget. Got it on ebay for $100.Seen them go around and about that price regularly. Has a good piano, a rocking electric guitar, best I've heard so far. A truly haunting choir patch, great for a gothic soundtrack. The synth sounds are good if you like 80s synthpop but border on generic. Seems kinda pointless to put synth sounds on the module as it has no filter. I have the following cards:orchestral strings, superstrings, orchestral winds, ethnic, and electric guitars. All of which have great sounds. Beware: this is a bitch to navigate around in. You need a patch editor like sounddiver or you will waste hours setting things up. Module has six parts + rhythm part and it only has 30 note polyphony. very limited sound editing ADSR and "vibrato" LFO peramiters nothing deeper than that. the manual was written by an obsessive mental patient. You need a degree to get through it. Has three stereo outs, which is nice if you process your sounds. Overall a good module but I gave it a 3 for the ridiculous manual and menus as well as the limited sound editing features.

The best keyboard for the upcoming writer with not much money, and a need to record.

In fact, I'm looking for another one (keyboard version) If anyone hears of one..please let me know in the UK. i'll pay shipping costs.

Need it for remixing a recent chart hit for Jamiroqui....
