Derek a hobbyist user from USA writes:
I have my unit for a very long time. Some of my early compositions were writtem on this one. Quite frankly I love the sounds. Yeah, some of it is shit compare to the sounds nowadays. But for $250 it's a great deal. Some of you losers compare this unit with the Trinities and the XP80's of the world. Come on guys that is a very unfair comparison. How much is the Trinity and how much is your U220. The acoustic sounds are very realistic and quite nice. The synth sounds are okay. The drum sounds I must say is different. Very 80's pop sound. Heh it can be useful.

Clarence a professional user from USA writes:
Bread and butter sounds. Some are good. Others are pathetic.

Big gripe on the outputs. If you use any output other than the main outs, you won't get fx on them. That's TERRIBLE!

This is not a GM module (I don't particularly care for GM anyway, but some of you might.).

Frank Franke a part-time user from Holland writes:
Still a great machine. Once in a while as I pass by some modern synths in the music store, I don't hear much better piano sounds, to compare to the age of the U20. Only now I experience some strange things. slowly more and more errors appeared. First, the chord section (jump, chord) looked like some computer-virus had entered..all ++++ and other signs appeared, and then every button had to be pressed real hard before anything happened, and only after repeated pressing, very slowly, the U20 responds. I took it apart, changed the battery, cleaned key by key. And also every 8th key is silent. Its till in pieces on my desk. I don't want to loose it! Any one knows these problems?

Gilbert M. a professional user from usa writes:
For Composition the U220 gives me the full rythm section ( Piano, Bass, Drums, Guitar ) then a horn section as well. For Composing i have found that it is a great tool. I only whish i had a similar device that gave me 16 seperate parts polyphonic, and each part using up to 10 notes. Does this exsist?

Jesper Andersen a part-time user from Denmark writes:
Nice pop-machinme. Ten Sharp's "You" was done completely on this one. The piano is ok as is the dist organ. The drums stink and there are basicly only one drum setup. Read more under U-20 as this is the module version identical to the U-20 keyboard.
