In the past I have heard the piano on the U220 and I know that they can sound great. I bought my U220 about 6 months ago. I have yet to be able to get the piano sounds to sound like the ones I heard about 7 years ago.
Can someone please help me, because I bought this unit hoping that I would get a deicated unit for piano sounds. Did I make a mistake? Please, if you have patches or know someone that does, please inform me. Thanks in advance.

I use the U-220 for the nice fretless bass sounds, nice flute sounds, and some of the strings pad sounds. I don't like the piano sound although it's better than most. My Korg Piano sounds a lot better. Also, the great organ sounds are very useful.

I bought my U220 for a $100 from my prof. I love it it's been a great synth for me. I use it mainly to thicken up my mix. I use the strings and pads, and sometimes the drums. This is a great additional module to any line up... and I would def. buy it again.
