I inherited this unit without a manual and though comments here don't give it too much praise, I think it would help me to have one. I am not doing very well navigating the menus and I'm fairly new to midi.
If anyone knows where I can get a manual. Hard or soft pdf copy, I would appreciate the tip.Thanks -noam

Great string patches & synth pads thatI hear on a lot of Records...some recent artists & a boatload of ol'skool Funk songs (Mid-80's, early 90's) I still have a use for it as music seems to be Retro these days (Neo-this & that...)

Well the u220 its ok especially for backup sound but thats about it!!!I like the strings and pads no question about it!My personal question is why Roland puts an envelope only with at least no keyfollow parameters i mean its not an instrument to create sound?!there is not even a filter wich make the system dead and boring!!to me putting a cheap envelope in a system like that its an insult!!!

I have just bought a 2nd hand U-220, as I have been playnig in a Trio and the Bass Guitar sound sound great. However I use a Alesis DM5 for the Drum sounds. With 6 outputs the unit works a treat in a live situation being able to seperate the instruments for mixing purposes. Most modern modules do not offer this.
