mc303---never owned 1,but i think i can say is when i first left rebirth and wav files on cubase and wanted to get some hardware,i listened to 1 of these and thought it sounded marvellous,,was in a shop on a big arse pa,and it sounded brilliant,,yeh ya cant tweak it,yeh its limited, but for a beginner and seeing as it costs next to nothing for something this good to take you to the next level of music making i dont think you can slate it 1 bit..all these people siad i owned it for ayear and hardly used it,why didnt you take it back then ? i admit maybe you should wait and get something a bit better,i bought a jomox airbase 99,,then a cs6x then a supernova and a 777 taken me a year or 2,,but if ya a young kid who wants to get going and all you do is a paper round at least you can get something to get you started it isnt that bad.its the idea of the machine i like,,,you can learn patterns, sounds, how to build a track so i never bought 1,,but even now with nice gear,i sometimes think,i wouldnt mind 1 just to bang out some obscure drum patterns or add alittle squelch here and there, run it thru a proccessor and make some new crazy sound,,,or even show my little bro the fundamenals of making music,,nice and simple and fun

JANUSZ KUJAWKA a hobbyist user from CANADA writes:
i got 303 second hand in very good condition. i bougth this as a drum machine but i think is just more then that.sounds are little out dated but i think its great compact silver box.to get good D.M. You have to spend around $700 CAN.or more,303 has good drum sets plus bass lines and real time controls.midi is very limited but i live with that.i will recommended 303 to any hobby musician. Thank You
