WHOA! excuse you..obviously you never used a Jv/Xp synth properly, or else you'd know anythings possible..100x more programmable then a Mc303..more likely like an expandable digital modular..

This a made for people who are too lazy to program a REAL synth like a JV1080. It may sound good but this is very instant and superficial... Preset-machines like these are responsable for all those boring and simple dancetracks on cheap compilation cd's...

I just got one used a few days ago for 320 which also come with the owner video

Play around for a while and this is my opinion. I boost up the low frequency button in the back to the max to see how thumping this can get. To my disappointment, it was as thin as the Korg ER-1. Went thru the preset and my feeling was oops another 320 went out the window since I can not return this unit.

Well since where I stay there not a lot of room so I pack up the unit and stuff in the closet.

I can not said it's a bad unit since I spend only about 30 minutes with the unit. However, I got this unit hoping this would inspire me to make music but it fail miserably for me.

I should have taken the advice of the posts here but I guess I want to experience it myself. Lucky I did not pay the full price 499 for it new. At least now I has got rid of my crave for one of those techno groove box RM1X, MC505, EG101, etc.... I only wish I have invest that 320 into some other gears. Well another reminder to me that you get what you paid for.

May be one of this day when I have nothing to do I'll spend more time with it. But as of right now, I can not see it happening as I am kinda bump out. Just my .02 cents. Please no flame as this is the what coming out of my own ears as your may varies.

Keep on rockin'........

How are you dumping the contents of the 303 to a PC? Mine never works and seems to crash the 303, what software are you using to convert the midi data?

Also do you or does anyone know how to turn off the 303 omni mode -- which sucks sucks sucks, my 303 takes notes from all channels indescriminately which is bad for when I sequence 16 tracks and the 303 plays all of them on one patch -- the musical equivilant of soup/stew it sounds so cluttered that it's virtually useless while in omni mode.

I do know how to boot it in module mode -- but then you have to do everything by sysex, which for this machine is a royal pain in the butt.

Any help would be appreciated, Nubey.
