I love this synth! It has a great punchy sound..great bass,leads,pads,digital-analog strange sounds machine. I own even a MWxt and I love them both but MW1 has a stronger character than MW2 or MWxt..real analog power!! analog metallic beast..

I only got my Microwave a few months ago, a collegue gave it to me while i was visiting his studio, he said he bought it new 10 years ago but hadnt really used it for a few years. Anyway, he told me to take it home and play around with it, so i did...wow!, nice synth. It didnt take long to start making wicked soundz, i got the performance & programming manuals with it. A brilliant peice of kit, iv'e already used it on a production for a T.V. ad, & it wont be long before it gets used again. Anyone know of any tricks to use on it?

Just picked this puppy up a few days ago in good condition at a fair price AND with the Access controller also with OS v2.0 !!! What a catch, im really happy with it. At first when i got it home i played about with the presets and some of the saved sounds from the previous user and i thought "oh no...what have i bought" but then after a few days of playing with the wavetables and the knobs on the controller im beginning to appreciate what a joy it is to program some nutty sounds out of it. I've already encountered some good noises like a Vangelis bladerunner type "horn-synth" and also some creepy sweeps and interesting trancey basslines. All in all a great buy and i wil give it a 4 out of 5..may it live long in my rack ! Respect
