I like this synth very much I have to admit. it is very user friendly and the sounds are quite amazing! it really rocks if youre doing detroit-electro or trance. but Im having a bit of a problem making house-music with it. the strings are ok. but I havent managed it to produce good wood sounds and sounds you can use for house music. can anyone help? plz mail me on cyrrius@gmx.de

Got mine this morning - its 6:30pm now and this thing rocks! got some killer deep-house/tech-house b-lines out of it - and figured the whole thing out without barely peeking at the manual - only had to to figure that to save the knob positions you store the SCENE and then store it to the VOICE.

Phat thing, that is! Great for the industrial noize, EBM and electronic stuff Im in. You never get bored with this one. Everyday I turn it on I discover something new. Amazing. Got a used one a half year ago for about 900 DM (approx 450$). The best value for money ever! Fattest basslines on earth!

I've just bought one 2nd hand. I make trance and other electronic music. The sounds are great, especially the patches you find on the internet. This machine is perfect for arpeggio's and those type of sounds. But for leads I still prefer my Roland JP-8000. Overall a very good synth and I've got it at a very good price > 350 USD. I also own a Yamaha CS6R and CS1X, I'm sure they'll compliment eachother perfectly. But there's one thing that bothers me. You can only have 128 patches? or can you save more? I don't get that, even my Cs1x has 256 patches. But aside from that it's a very good VA.

Synth is great. Super sounds. But guys, I end up with the same sounding patches every time I try to do something myself. Same basses, same leads, strings etc... Do I need to spend more time with it ? I think so. Only thing that pisses me off is 2 parts of multitimbrality, I need more :) Also could have Audio IN, for processing external signal. Right now I'm looking at the Access Indigo, 80 efx in the same time sounds aaaaaaa!!! :))) anyway love my AN1x. Does anyone wants to exchange patches ?...mail me
