Does anyone know where I can find the breath controller? I've gotten really good sounds running it through an SVT rig and a Sunn stack. The bigger the amp, the better this thing sounds. Kind of limited, though. Better with a few effects on it.

This is a nice piece of aquipment. Do not misjudge it by it's looks. Run it through a bit of reverb or delay (distortion is nice too) and this baby rocks! With a breathcontroller (still available!!!) even better. You can adjust the Q-potmeter to make the filter mucho more aggressive. This little thing is great for basses and leads. Let it scream!!!!!!!!!

Steve a hobbyist user from USA writes:
Ive had mine for about a year or so now.. got it for a littleover 100 bux.. Chick Corea played it on his 1983 tour with his elektrik band (I think.. RTF was split up by then right?) So it's obviously got some good lead potential. Anyway, its a basic all analog synth, good for learning the basics of analog on.. Makes real bloopy bleepy sounds, has a noise waveform so it can do wind and surf, has a nice filter, a nice slow adsr, mini leys let you span many octaves in a single reach, its the synth i probably zone out to the most.. with batteries and a little speaker, its probably the easiest and quickest all analog machine to use out there. way fun... limited, but fun. Kinda rare too so if yousee one, pick it up.. the mk 2 version with the filter slider instead of the two position switch is preferred....rock on, ~Steve

This is a nasty little muthafukkah. I wouldn't call the sounds farting out of this one GOOD, but they're COOL and often downright NASTY. I got mine really cheap and was amazed at how raw it sounded. Not very good for harmonic music, but if you want a weird solo instrument, get this one, a ZOOM Heavy Metal FX box and a guitar strap...
