Marc Ellis a professional user from New Orleans USA writes:
I bought a used MU90R as a second XG sound source. I like the XG format and use it for my compositions.

The XG patches in the MU90R are excellent. I don't care much for the TG300 bank. It is just a GM bank, from what I can see.

I could not get the C/M bank to play. Maybe it is for storing sounds. The PFM bank has some cool sounds also.

I do not like the operating system on this unit. It is difficult for me to understand. So mainly, I just set it to XG bank and control it from my computer sequencer software.

The two channel mixer is kind of nice. But it is not discreet. So anything I patch into it will be blended on the MU90R sounds I'm using.

I got this for a very good price. I'm happy I bought it. But I need to buy another MU module to accomplish what I want to accomplish. I will use one of the modules as a sound generator and the other as an effects box, sub-mixer.

I found a mu90 in japan (it was sale 100$) and i bought it just to have fun. But when i went back home i realized that i had bought a fantastic tone generator to help me to finalize my products.

Armin van Buuren a professional user from Lethernands writes:
Did alot of songs in my life like "the sound of goodbye" and i allways used the MU-90r in my productions. cristal clear professional sounds, high dynamics. no synth or plugin can beat this little monster. best synth i ever used.
