WOW, everything I had hoped for and way more, this box is serious. I really cant say enough about this beast just got it a few days ago, lost 5 lbs, cant eat or sleep its that amazing. I have used the Mc 505 and the RM1X kicks the sh*t out of that box. "Every body needs a 303" FORGETABOUTIT "Everyone needs a RM1X...period" Yamaha RM1X, SU700 and the MD8 now your cooking! YAMAHA ALL THE WAY...Roland who?? P.S Best hardware sequencer, sooooo tight 480ppq.....Roland 96ppq what? sequencing with 505 is like using a sundial.

what! i read all of those messages and decided to get this baby. went to shop, assumption: sounds bad.

fuck! the EVERY tune i listened (presets!) were kewl! i grabbed it home had lot of fun with it, havent done any songs myself thus :)

only flying around with presets and trying things out. have it with cs6x and still use rm1x sounds!

one night i played just for fun and got total asskick sound, which will be made to you available at the end of message, which just shockingly sexy!

realtime controls do the job.. harmonize/midi delay distortion.. eg decay..

i am very pleased and no more soft sequencers! i cant do anything with them..

long live rm1x!

(only thing i wish would be realtimepatternplay, somethink like on xp60/triton and user arpeggio)

NB! bass boost kicks!

http://www.udu.ee/~off/koogisroogib/

sry recorded it with my minidisc straight out of headphones output :) this is my only "tunes" and fuck im still pleased with these.. some kewl guitar/trance/industrial drums..

Ken one a hobbyist user from the netherlands writes:
this drum and bass beast has a kick ass sequencer the internall bass sounds don't compare with my analog synths but the drum kids rule. it has some pretty cool effects and filters to, all edditable. this bleu boy beats the mc505,mc303 and the rave'o'lution for sure!

circuit slave a hobbyist user from cali writes:
You learn something new everytime you turn on the blue beast. That's what I like about it. (Okay, so I'm a slow learner) . You know, people rag on the internal sounds, but if they are put in the mix really well, they "SOUND" like real instruments. There is a certain "soul" the machine has. IOW, the RM1x is alive. This has got to be one of the best sequencers that's out right now. There are ONLY two complaint/wishes as far as I'm concerned:

1. The knobs TDC, (top dead center). I wish they were continous, instead of the center break point.

2. It would be neat in an OS update if the leds would chase ala XOX.
