Really a great, inexpensive, usable box. Great bass and bass drums. Tight snares. Easy x0x proramming... one of the most underated boxes behind the ensoniq esq-1...
and it goes on the plane too...

I love these machine! It was my FIRST electronic instrument! wow, its small goes with batteries has a built in speaker.cool sounds (analog pad, sound effects pad, rap pad) you can make your own drumkits.wow the gong is really lo-fi with the noise.cool for hiph hop

If you see one of these babies you MUST buy it, prolly get it for around $100 and i garuantee you won't be disappointed. Put it through afew effects and it kicks the ass off anything. It has over 230 individual sounds which can be allocated into 2 sections (percussion and drums) of 15 groups with 12 pads to bash on. I hope that makes sense. make sure you go through all the sounds and look for the cheesy gong (erm do this through tape edit i think). GONNNNNG. To get an alrighty sound from the bass section transpose it to -12 and then use the detune to how you want. I wish i had an instruction book for this thing so i could find all the things i'm missing. This little pocket rocket even has its own mini inbuilt speaker and can run on afew batteries.impressive huh huh. Haven't tried the midi yet. Wish it had more pattern saves only 50. This thing gives so much yet asks for so little. GONNNNNNG

For the amount of cash you can get this little tool for(I got it new in '92 for only $199!)I have no choice but to give it five out of five. I run all of my stuff lo-fi (other tools:guitar pedals,Yamaha DX 100(another great cheapy),and a 4-track)and people don't believe what I am using! Run this baby with a Boss equalizer pedal and a little delay and you will run into endless possibilties. Some of the sounds are not at all used by me ,but the ones I'm stuck on...!!!!!!!!!!!
