I love this thing! Every day I find out something new about it. I'm sure once I develope a real feel for it, I'll be able to do some cray, crazy, sick shit. I just get tired of reading manuals after a while.

So you cant sequence note by note; only loops like ACID? In other word this isnt capable of programming individual notes?

Robert Rada a professional user from U.S. writes:
I've been working on a rap record for about six months, and let me tell you, for straight up phrase-sampled hip hop, the SU700 is the best toy available. And if you beef up the memory, you can easily come up with some intricate "check your head" style backbone material. Word of warning: in my opinion, it can..but shouldn't be used for anything else. It just doesn't offer a "real" sequencing set up (you can only program set loops). A couple of the built in effects are really useful as well. The compressor really improves the bass, the delays are pretty nice, so is the reverb. At the same time, half the effects are pointless and gimmick-like. If you're into making hip hop, and don't like using a computer, go for it.
