I love my Virus Indigo. It has become central in my set up. Don't hesitate to get one, it will add an incredible depth to your sound pallet. Be careful when upgrading the OS however. I am waiting on Access TechSupport to get me up and running right now. I updated to the 4.8 OS from 4.07 and my keyboard is sketchy. I can control the Indigo from a controller but not its own keyboard. Everything worked before I upgraded it. At the very worst, my Indigo is now a Virus B. Upgrader BEWARE.

Best Regards

This has a better sound than the 2. I think they switched some of the components when they made the 2 to make more money. I sold my 2 and am glad I did not sell the Indigo 1.

I have had my Virus Indigo for about a year now and next to my qaldorf q+ mit is the best thing i could ever have.. however today i went to turn it on after a thursday night 8 hour session.. and the lfo lights came on.. the screen flickered for a couple of seconds and then the OS screen came on and started to flicker on then off, on then off.. i treat my machines with utmost respect and i could never imagine this happening to me.. i can only begin to fathum how this story with warranty repare is going to unfold...

so now i am out of an awesome board and nothing to do..

Great synth, only thing is that its 3 octave...i know its meant to be portable...why can't access make their 61 key K-series keyboards with blue LEDs and aluminum side panels?????? That would be the bomb

Only reason why i didn't buy the indigo is that its 3 octave only, i need atleast 5 octave for my 8-multitimbral setup!

Traded in a jp8000, jupiter4 and cz5000 for one of these. And aside from the `retro cool` of the jupiter4 i don`t regret it. Does the job of all the others and a lot more besides. If you can, get one.
