Very nice synth. Not so very difficult in use for a racksynth. Nice Multimode. In my opinion a nice way to get the very nice 'Virus-sound' cheaper. And you only lose some voices 16. The sound is broad and warm but very different from my AN1x.

Indeed this rack is not related to the Virus Indigo but in an old brochure of my music store there is a clear white picture of a white Virus Rack. (So in the colours of the indigo)

The OEM version of Sounddiver Virus is essential for quick sound editing and makes editing the Virus a breeze. Also playing with the vocoder is fun!

Many people seems to be thinking that the virus rack and the virus Indigo are related, They are not! V-rack has 16 voices Indigo 24 V-rack 2 ocillators Indigo 3 Simultanius effects, V-rack 34, Indigo 82 And these are just som differences. The rack is very good, but not as good as the Indigo.

David,

I have the Virus Rack, and it's clearly labeled "Virus Rack." The user manual is "Virus Rack User Manual." There's no reference to the Indigo or the "Indigo Rack" except a warning not to try to load the Indigo OS into the rack.

Please look carefully at www.access-music.de. There's no reference to the "Indigo Rack." Look at the list of products carefully.

This is not a subject of personal opinion, and we don't need to argue about it. Just look at the Access site. Or check the mailing list archives at www.teklab.com.

Mitch

Hi,

The 1U red rack from acces is called VIRUS INDIGO RACK too, it's clear that it's not indigo like the keyboard. But when I saw it at Frankfurt the first time, 2 years ago !!, his dress wasn't red but silver !!!! A kit will be available to update it to the indigo features (that's they said 2 years ago!). Great vocoder and great sounds. BUY IT NOW !!!
